They make appointments that they have no intention...

They make appointments that they have no intentions of keeping just so that they can have a driver standing by when a load is finally ready for shipment.

Currently, with a 1pm appointment, it's now the next morning at 1:17 am (over a half a day later) and I'm still getting a response to my "when will my load be ready" question of "I can't give you an exact time or even a window of time yet". And all of us drivers know that in this industry, this would be considered a whole new level of highly unacceptable... with any customer... anywhere.

Don't bother running their extremely tight loads unless you're a "super trucker" that doesn't mind fudging your paper logs, or if you're willing to laugh at the delivery time(s) and have them rescheduled to a date/time that you can safely and legally make. Sure it's a poultry joint, but they should certainly have their system running stronger and smarter than "um, I don't know".
