RN Heidi Corns on Mon 06 JAN 2020 did an excellent job finding my wife's vein for an IV. She was at another hospital in November and they tried four times without any success to insert an IV which caused her a lot of pain. My wife has deep veins and Nurse Corns was patient and took her time to find a vein finder machine on another floor. Using the special instrument nurse Corns found the vein on her first attempt and was able to insert an IV and caused my wife no pain!
Nurse Corns' empathy, patience, and professionalism made our day. My wife was able to have a successful ct scan because they were able to inject a liquid through the IV which allowed for a better contrast.
