There are 2 main seafood places at the wharf -- Jessie Taylor and Captain Whites -- with a few small shops tucked in along the walls as well. Both places generally offer similar prices -- the only reason I honestly chose Jessie Taylor was due to their cordial attitudes.

I procured 1.5 bushels of mixed steamed/seasoned blue crabs. The price was right (dc standards) and they gave me a deal for going with unsorted. The bushels were filled but not overstuffed so no free rides. The crabs were well enjoyed and fresh. I was able to put in the order and pick up the same day. On average prices for med sized crabs went for ~125 per bushel -- I received my mixed bushel for a deal at 137 (your mileage may vary)

Seafood is seafood when it comes to the fish market at the wharf -- however Jessie Taylor was able to set themselves apart by being both helpful and nice.
