Met a colleague for lunch today at Makimoto. It came highly recommended.

The service was great. No issue here.

We ordered the Kogi Tempura...looked great, but the was a definite lack of flavor.
Eel avocado roll...pretty good flavor here, but nothing spectacular. And the East Roll...again...nothing special.

Sadly, the miso soup was the big disappointment. COMPLETELY bland.

There are better places in town, but this will do if you're in a hurry or just in the area.
