According to google 3 stars is good. I consider 3 stars just ok. I don t know how this hotel received such high marks. The room was clean, food was decent however it s no resort. There are rooms and a pool. Nothing else. Food service was mediocre. Only ONE service person asked if we would like a second drink (and YES we do want a second drink, we are on vacation)...Thank you Jason Ye. You were a great waiter.
Furthermore When I informed the staff of 2 birthdays in our household (long in advance; 2 different ways- 1) by email and never got a response, 2) over the phone), I was assured it was noted and would be taken care of. My big birthday surprise was 2 small pieces of cake and 4 plates on our way to the pool. I just thought for a 5 star resort, the details would matter. Paid too much for this staycation. Would not do it again.
