I've been a gym member for almost 2 yrs now and this is my last. The problem is that they schedule events here, especially during the summer, for non-gym related activities. This week the entire parking lot and driveway was shut down for quite a while because two huge busses pulled up to the front door and stopped, blocking all traffic. People had to complain to get them to move. Today I just cancelled my workout when the driveway was again blocked by over a hundred small children for some event. It is quite difficult finding a parking place on the weekends due to so many cars attending children's sporting events. UPDATE - Thanks for your polite response to my google post... Everyone at The Pointe was very nice and I did enjoy my time here... my problem is that, as an adult looking for a place to work out, The Pointe is not for me. I didn't realize that this is really a Family Rec Center instead of a gym. I just don't like spending time looking for a parking spot, then navigating through all the children and NON-WORKOUT folks playing... I just want to go workout, but your business model evidently focuses on hosting special events, renting out facility rooms, hosting HUGE busses, entire families coming to swim, etc. Not a gym for adults...
