These are the people who are supposed to serve and protect. Forest Park police department is one of the most racist pds to come in counter with. The first day that I ever spent in Forest Park I was stopped and searched by the K9 unit for a speeding ticket. I was on the phone with both my wife and mother and was told to get the f*** off the phone and get out of the car. Luckily I pulled in front of the gas station where there were cameras, but that still didnt stop them from being out of order and rude. The police; which i have on video, made countless racial slurs towards me and illegally searched both me and my car. Three more cars pulled up and blocked me all for going 47 in a 45. The police searched my car and said that my car is clean boy; that gives us probable cause because its as though your trying to cover up a smell even though the car does not smell like any narcotics. He said that for a black man to be riding that clean was suspicious and that it was a good enough reason to search my car and me. The police walked his dog around the bush where no one could see him, picked up a piece of grass off the ground and tried to say he found it in my car and had to test it; attempting to scare me by saying "you know what this is". Im not dumb so i told him I saw you pick that up off the ground, he said who saw me and you know if this turns blue im going to arrest you.I said well its on camera sir, then he said "you think your smart for pulling over at the gas station huh." That let me know that had I not pulled to the gas station, they would have tried to set me up. They use their badge to abuse the law and the people they are suppose to protect. I took out a police report on the police officer, they dont play with me so why should i play with them, its a 30 minute or less process to write a statement. The chief called me back in less than 24 hours around 9:30 pm and all he ranted about was me handing the tape over to them but it was already with my lawyer. If ever you have the blue lights behind you while in Forest Park, GA make sure to pull to a public place with lots of lights and cameras, have your own camera on you. These people are very very evil and will try their best to end you.
