I ordered a margherita which the menu said came "with basil". The pizza had one leaf of basil in the centre.

I asked the waitress why it didn't have more she told me that was "how we do it" shrugged and walked off!

At the end of the meal the manager asked if our food was ok I mentioned the lack of basil and was told I should have specifically "asked for more" and that it was "too late now". To add insult he told me the basil "doesn't cost us very much". I suggested in future they put some more on!

Life is too short to waste time in prezzo arguing about basil. Just try somewhere else and save yourself the annoyance!
