I agree with many of the reviewers who gave Vivint...
I agree with many of the reviewers who gave Vivint one star. However, during the past five years they have responded to the MANY calls my husband and I have made complaining about the myriad of technical problems we've experienced. I have one more year on my extended 2-year contract and I will not be renewing it again. The only reason I renewed this time was they agreed to do a full system check (which is the first time one has been done in five years) and install a simple battery operated wireless panel upstairs which would allow us to disarm the system when the Vivint app on our smartphones fail - something which has happened numerous times (and we DO HAVE VERIZON). The only problem was, after the tech who installed it left, we discovered the panel cannot be used to "arm away" (we do that when we go upstairs at night for bed). It can only be armed "stay" which means the motion detectors downstairs are useless....anyone can break into a window and be undetected. So here's hoping our smartphones and fob will continue to "arm away" because that button on the panel marked "arm away" is non-functional.
