It would appear to me that this is a ghost agency....

It would appear to me that this is a ghost agency. They claim to have a working telephone number, and indeed, it is in the phone book under government agencies. However, they don't seem to be able to comprehend the workings of their phone system, since nobody can ever get them to answer the phone or return a phone call. HOW can an agency be an effective agency without a working telephone number? I am about to put on my food stamp applications that I don't have a working telephone number, either, and that they will have to send their notifications to me via homing pigeon. They can waste stamps and paper sending out notices that you missed an interview that you were never informed of, but when you try to call them to reschedule this unannounced interview, their issues with their phone system kick into high gear. Then they send you out a duplicate notice. Instead of wasting so much paper on something you never intend to complete, why doesn't the government spend the money installing a phone system that the caseworkers can actually understand and use to call their clients back? I would add my phone number to this review, but the agency probably won't be able to comprehend how to dial the number.
