My introduction to Edgar Cayce and the A.R.E. came...

My introduction to Edgar Cayce and the A.R.E. came when I first read the books, Edgar Cayce the Sleeping Prophet, Dreams Your Magic Mirror and Many Mansions in 1968. That was over 50 years ago! Three or four years later I visited the A.R.E. and had the privilege to actually meet with Edgar Cayce's son, Hugh Lynn Cayce, who was an amazing person in his own rite. Since that time I have been back to the A.R.E. in Virginia Beach three more times and was incredibly impressed each time with everyone's knowledge and understanding of life, as well as the passion and integrity of those that I met. I also was impressed with the talent of the people giving the workshops and lectures ... so much can be learned here ... and it is a wonderful place to begin your search into what life is about, knowing that what you learn will serve you well through a lifetime.

What I have learned from the Edgar Cayce readings gave me a solid foundation upon which to build my understanding of life ... and as time has gone by nearly everything that I leaned here has proven correct and helped me so much in my life that I really cannot put it into words. There are so few places where you can actually count on receiving the truth of what life is about without sorting through tons of what is not true ... but the A.R.E. is one place where you go to find out the facts about life without having to discard so much since most of what you learn will be solid and true. It might take a little work to get into the language that is used in the readings, at times, but the effort will be well worth the effort in the long run.

I have never personally found any other association anywhere in the world which can come even close to the Association for Research and Enlightenment with what it does and how it has the potential to open doors to understanding, not only concerning the world we live in, but also to help us find the answers to questions about where we came from in the beginning and what our purpose for being is all about. I simply would ask you ... where else can you find all of these things, and depend on what you uncover to be true? It may not be perfect, but it is a work in process that is moving in the direction of the Ideal and Ideals that are stated in all of their literature and all that they are doing from day to day.
