My dad is currently on hospice with Treasure Valley Hospice. Our experience has been extremely positive. Visits are unhurried and thorough, the nurses are kind, caring and capable, and the other support staff that I've had any interaction with are so very responsive and helpful. I called to ask for more information about my dad's condition, and what to expect as it progresses. Karen put together exactly the info I needed, and even came personally to discuss it with my dad and me. I feel a great sense of peace to have this support system in place as my dad prepares for death.
I highly recommend Treasure Valley Hospice. It was a no-brainer for us to choose them, because 5 years ago they helped us when my mother was failing. Her situation was quite different than my father's - his is a slow progress, but for Mom, she was only on hospice for one week. Every day felt like a week, as she progressed so quickly. The staff was beyond amazing with such a quick process.
