I moved into Melody Tower when the apartment first...

I moved into Melody Tower when the apartment first opened in 2016. The staff have been pretty helpful but can be slow to answer emails and may give you different responses to problems based on who you talk to.

I recently moved out in May 2018. My lease ended April 2018 but we (my roommate and I) extended for a month because we needed more time to move out and find another place. We had asked Abel (management at Melody Tower) if we would be able to move out in the middle of the month and have our lease prorated. He said we would have to pay the full amount up front but once we move out, we would get the amount back (from the date we handed the keys through the 31st). We decided on this since we were almost ready to move out and handed in the keys in the middle of the month.

Once we did, we received our deposit back with a few items deducted, which we expected, and one that we didn't know why they were deducting it. I went to Melody Tower, was told to email Veronica and that she would answer all my questions.

I have emailed her several times, called several times, but she doesn't answer my questions. The only thing she responded was to ask if we received the deposit back. Which we did... but we had questions on one of the items deducted from our deposit.

I ended up getting the management office phone number, but she NEVER picks up the phone. I have called over 40 times and each time, I get her voicemail. I even went to the management office but she was "not in the office" that day. She still has yet to answer our question about our deposit, and it has been over a month and a half.

AND to make matters worse, they are now saying they will not prorate our lease. So we paid the whole month, moved out in the middle of the month and we will not be receiving anything back. I've tried to email her and call her about this, but she doesn't give me a straight answer. I told her Abel had told us that we would so we don't understand why we wouldn't be able to receive it back. She still has not answered and again, it's been over a month and a half. I send her an email every day, asking her to call me so we could clarify and have this taken care of already, but she ignores those emails as well.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH BY FAR. It is ridiculous how much time and effort I have had to put it and still have 0 answers. SO HAPPY TO GET OUT OF THERE. If I could give zero stars instead of one, I would.
