The shipping company that we used from NZ has AMJ doing the customs clearance and Canada part of Door to Door delivery. This should have taken place smoothly and efficiently and was quoted to be with us in a 1-3 week period of arriving in Kamloops for customs clearance. It now looks like first possible chance of delivery will be in excess of 6 weeks after its arrival here, and thats best case scenario. We have two young children, one an infant whom we planned our shipping around, and planned contingencies for all situations. We are now having to purchase clothing, feeding resources and all the things a young family need to cope let alone being in a new environment on the other side of the world. Service has been personal but there seems to be no expediency or understanding to the customers situation. We are told we must wait until multiple loads can be shipped together, and getting all those groups involved to be able to be in Kamloops on a given day to clear customs, and then match that to a drivers routine and route. I find it completely unacceptable, I would not recommend dealing with this company unless your move is across a small town. I am very disappointed my NZ agency are in a relationship with this company.
