I made an appt about 2 weeks ago for an eye exam. I informed the receptionist at the time of the call that I had insurance with EyeMed and she said "we take it." Great. Two weeks later I show up for my appt and Im advised that I would have to pay $140 for my visit as I am out of network, after I was told I was covered. They never called to confirm my appt and much less call to advise my insurance is not accepted. I called out from work, my wife called out from work to come with me and now they want me to pay $140 on top of that because they gave me wrong information upon making my appointment.
If you make an appointment with them triple check your insurace is accepted so they dont hit you with a surpise upon checking in for your appt.
