Thursday 8/13/20 was a terrible experience at Kelly Ford. What was to have taken two hours, as originally stated, took three and a quarter hours. It was, however, the contentious arguments back posed by the service manager(?) that really ruined this experience. Although he did offer to pay for part of the service(a tire alignment), he did so by stating I will pay for the alignment, but I shouldn t ! By 3pm we hadn t had lunch. Although the Customer Service Rep.(Stephanie) offered to get us lunch, we refused , because we were unaware that an extra hour plus had been added on. Nor were we aware of mechanics going to lunch. I realize that everyone needs lunch break, however as a customer, I am only concerned with service to me. Stephanie told us SHE was taking lunch break. Service Mgr. told me he hadn t had lunch all week.
Service Mgr, went on to say, you re only going to give me a lousy review anyway ! Well here it is!! This defensive, back on his heels young man is not ready for management. He needs Customer Service re-training!! Do not argue or butt heads with customers. Also, what is $29.99 customer pay shop charge? This is not my first bad experience with your service dept. We have a right to express dissatisfaction over an unannounced hour and quarter. Still trying not to believe we were talked to like that! This will be our last time at Kelly Ford, and you people have work to do. I welcome a response.
