My first Electrolux bagless vacuum cleaner lasted for 7 years, with one replacement of vacuum cleaning head which I felt was pretty decent. This was why I purchased a newer model from Electrolux when the old one stopped working.

In about 6 months, the new unit was down. I brought it to the customer service at One North, the dropoff was fuss free.

But thereafter there was no update on the works required, or when it would be ready. I made a 4 calls in total and each time, I would be told the same thing that it would take 7 to 10 working days for repair (which was silly when the later calls were made after 10 working days already) and that they have sent in an email to the engineering department who had not yet replied.

Quite a disappointment.
