I have spent all but one of the last 12 Memorial Day weekends in Charlotte. I've taken friends and recommended it to others. It is a great way to spend the race day weekend if it's something that you enjoy. They put on an absolutely amazing pre-race display for the 600 but it's not something that I bother going to see anymore as most years it is pretty much the same. Ticket prices are very reasonable and it in field passes definitely something worth getting.
