Sadly this dealership got it badly wrong for us. Having made an appointment to view/test drive and hopefully buy a Golf from this dealer, we travelled over 50 miles in two cars to an arranged test drive. Upon arrival, we were seated in reception and given coffee. While we waited in reception, the dealer sold the car we had come to see to someone else!!. Without doubt the worst customer service experience ever. We are loyal VW owners but if ever our loyalty to the brand was tested, it was with this dealership. Really they don't even deserve one star but that is the lowest you can give. Interestingly, we went to another dealer in MK the next day and bought a similar car with exceptional/professional support from the sales staff at the second dealer. If only all VW dealers were the same! One salesperson (KJ) at Marshalls of Newbury did his best to recover a bad situation and he alone deserves credit but the rest of the team should go take a look at the service you can get from dealers who know what they are doing.
