The hotel is really great on the bay, the rooms with a view have these too - we could enjoy the sunset over the bay from the balcony on the 12th floor.

Actually 5 stars, BUT
Immediately after checking in, we would recommend checking in at the concierge desk, where we should get tips for staying and getting San Diego in general.
Here we were then offered a free breakfast and a ride through Little Italy and also a gift from the hotel ($ 50 prepaid card) - the convenient request was practical pre-filled with everything you could check off. Not mentioned, but checked that this is a 120 minute timeshare sales event - after reading this we did not do what we could not understand.

Too bad, if you had just said what it was all this would not be a problem and we just would not have done it, it felt like a weird start.
