This review applies to the Byrne Ford Kedron Servicing Department on Glentanna St.
Complete and utter lack of any customer service or interpersonal skills by staff. Was treated with short and rude responses from the moment I arrived to have a problem with my car diagnosed and repaired.
Fault was diagnosed as a fan issue and they wanted an astronomical sum of money to replace it. When I baulked at the price they treated me as if I was a fool to question it and when I told them I was taking it elsewhere to be repaired they forced me to sign a hand scrawled waiver stating "we told him not to drive it, it could overheat"...(that's what overheat warning lights are for haha).
They ended up charging me $144 for the quick fault diagnosis, for which they gave me no formal write up of the issue to take to my other mechanic... so essentially $144 for a particularly salty man to tell me "it's the fan".
In the end I took it to another mechanic and had it fixed quickly and with new parts for literally less than half of their quote...thanks for nothing Byrne Ford
