Absolutely abysmal customer service from start to finish. We were deceived by the salesman concerning the duration of the contract. We were told we were locking in the price for five years, but only three years were required for the contract to ensure all equipment was paid for. Of course, this was patently untrue. We COULD have signed a three year contract at the beginning and would have been able to have our price adjusted, etc after that amount of time, but instead were duped into a five year contract. Shame on me for believing the jovial, smiling liar, I suppose.
I have finally made it through my contract and called to cancel my service. I was on hold for 35 minutes only to have the customer DISservice rep hang up on me after I stated I wished to cancel. I immediately called back and sat through another 35 minute wait time. This time, the rep informed me I must email the company my request for cancellation. Flabbergasted, I said, You mean to tell me you don t have the authority to cancel an account?! She said that because of legal reasons the request needs to be reviewed by their team. Also, this review will take 30 days during which they will continue to bill me! Unbelievable! What kind of legal reasons can this company have beyond ensuring they squeeze every last possible dime out of their unsuspecting customers?! When I have cancelled other services (phone, internet, gas, electric, etc, etc), I have never had to remain on the hook for an extra MONTH while the company takes their sweet time evaluating my cancellation request.
I am so done with this dishonest company. Run away from their sales reps as far and as fast as you can!
