These people take advantage of elderly people. My parents went to Copper Creek to purchase a home for $200k and walk out with a $280k contract. They knew what my parent's budget was and made so many empty promises. It was a disaster from the get-go. They made mistakes in the framing process with the "upgrades" my parents paid for and never ended up fixing them. So they paid for things they never received. Then they said the home came with a one year warranty but four months after closing, they refuse to come out and do repairs. And there are MANY repairs to be made! (windows make a loud whistling sound when the wind blows, they never finished the sheet rock in the basement, HVAC rattles and makes weird noises, their lot was never even back filled- seriously, the list goes on.) When asking for a reason as to why these items are not being taken care of, they said they have no more obligations to my parents. What?? It even states this in the closing documents, these are under the one year warranty and things that should have been taken care of prior to closing. BEWARE! These guys are dishonest and take advantage of people. I am definitely contacting an attorney to get this resolved ASAP.
