I found this place when I was looking for a cool place to take the family while in Atlanta. It was about a 1 hour drive but after seeing the pictures online, I didn't mind the drive. The thing I'll warn parents about is if you don't plan to go down water slides then only pay for beach entrance. My husband and I weren't aware that option was available and we could've saved about 60.00. Anyhow the place is beautifully set up, it has a board walk with plenty of food options. There was even a bar which I enjoyed but you do need to careful with making sure bartenders aren't ripping you off. I can't remember her name but she tried to overcharge this couple across the bar from us. When it was out turn to be rung out, she tried to charge 40.00 for 2 drinks, it should have only been 25.00. She tried to play it off but how do you even make that mistake when there was only 2 drinks. I'd say bring your own umbrella because they do run out. Unfortunately we were rained out, and it cut our visit short. But I absolutely love this place, and would return if I have the opportunity. It was so much better than staying in Atlanta. So much to offer.
