Downright shame! A rotten start to our holiday and...

Downright shame! A rotten start to our holiday and a stop at the end, thanks to NH Hotel Schiphol. We booked a Park-Sleep-Fly arrangement, whereby our car would remain in the parking lot and we would use a 'free' shuttle bus to and from the airport (well, included in the price). We checked in at the desk and the receptionist knew only too well that we had to go to the airport the next day. However, she did not inform us that seats in the shuttle had to be reserved. We were on time with the shuttle bus when I suddenly read in small print 'Please reserve your seats'. We went to ask at the counter, but the bus was already full. We quickly had to call a taxi that would cost us 20 euros for the short 5-minute drive !!! Immediately afterwards sent a complaint email to NH Hotel. We are now about 3 weeks further and we still have no answer! Then I called myself from my trip and explained the situation. Also said that we wanted to insure ourselves of a seat on the shuttle after the return flight. This was not possible, but shuttles would arrive every 15 minutes OR every half hour (not even clear). I myself had read that they only arrived every hour during the night, but we accepted the words from the operator. Once from the airport we saw the schedule: every hour of course! We had to take another taxi that cost us 20 euros. Fortunately we slept in a different hotel afterwards. Furthermore, a lot of noise in the hallway and old rooms. They will never see us here again!
