So we are having a family reunion at my Fathers for Thanksgiving on the Texas coast this Thursday so I booked a house way back in July with Airbnb to make sure with so many family members coming we would have enough room, everything was confirmed and PAID in full well in advance, and today 3 days before with many family already en-route I get a cancel notice in an email and text. I talked with the owner who said they were doing repairs and I couldn't stay there now from Hurricane Harvey 2 years ago! So why did Airbnb take my money and allow this property to be available if it still had "damage" from 1.5 years ago? And why was it even allowed to be shown on this website? If I could give them a zero star rating I would, and will NEVER use this business ever again. Now I have to spend another $1,200 for an equivalent space since its short notice!! I am NOT happy!! 11/25/19 I still have not be refunded my money paid back in July 2019. Borderline FRAUD
