I have currently been sitting at Piedmont Henry hospital ER with impacted bowels for almost five hours!! People have come and gone and I m still sitting here. My condition is an easy fix too. One shot of Relistor and I could be out the door! I have been to the bathroom and manually disimpacted myself and there was a significant amount of blood. I reported this to the nurse at the desk and his response was, Don t hurt yourself. and he looked back at his computer. This is my second trip here to take care of this excruciatingly painful condition and last time, I got up and walked out. I made the 40 minute drive to Fayetteville and was seen within 45 minutes. This hospital is the most INCOMPETENT HOSPITAL THAT IVE EVER SEEN!! They need to be shut down - point blank! There are infants and senior citizens that have been here longer that I. Many people have gotten up and walked out and I don t blame them! I will NEVER, EVER, EVER come here again and plan to report them to the attorney general. It has been said that if you want to die....go to Piedmont Henry. I now believe that to be true. I am a nurse and never in my life have I seen such a sub standard of care! I d give them zero stars if that were available!!!! If my bowels perforate while I am sitting here, there will be a lawsuit coming at them!
