Please do yourself a favor and book guided tour. It's difficult to get the slot. Slots open 2 weeks in advance only and fill up very quickly. Sometimes randomly some slots become available when someone cancel their reservation. New slots open at 2:30 am Canadian time (8:30 am swiss time).

Tour is 2 hour and very informative. It had access to some places like ATLAS building where ordinary visitor cannot go. Along with 2-3 multimedia presentations.

Spare atleast 4 hours for this place. 2 hours of tour and then 1-2 hours for permanent exhibitions.

Reception is opposite to globe building. Go there for visitor's registration and pick up your card. Tour starts from reception area.
