Outpatient radiology: MRI, cervical spine, 2012. Shabby dressing room, not particularly classy, friendly or personable tech. Tolerable, but not pleasant experience. Will not return. Outpatient radiology: trans-vaginal ultrasound, 2009. Non-communicative, rude, unprofessional tech who left me waiting in a cold room. I was dressed in a hosp gown. She did not offer blanket. No class. Cold treatment. She did not introduce herself. She did not speak to me before, during, or after performing the ultrasound. She failed to inform me as to how the procedure would be performed. Imagine- a trans-vaginal with a huge probe that is introduced into the vagina! Unpleasant, degrading, unprofessional.Outpatient radiology, Mammogram, 2009. Almost identical experience as above. Degrading, unprofessional, cold treatment. Customer service abominable. To add insult to injury, I had co-pays for these procedures that totaled over $1,800. This with high option insurance. The last time I needed radiology services I went to an independent provider whose co-pay and physician reading services were less than half that which I payed for the ultrasound at Knapp. And the tech treated me like a human being.
