BEWARE OF KINSEY! Really awful management company. Was in an apt on 75th street for 1 year and had no troubles until it came to move out time. Has been 4 months since move out and have not received security deposit back. The company has dodged emails, and phone calls. I showed up in person and they lied to me about my property manager not being there hoping I would leave without speaking with anybody. He popped out of his office after 10 minutes when they realized I wasn't leaving. Since then has ignored several emails and even after saying the check "should be in the mail" have received no check. These guys are so unprofessional and may even be criminal. Do yourself a favor and choose anybody but them. Would give them zero stars if I could but I have to give at least 1 to post this so guess I'm stuck... but they are not worthy of even 1 star.

Complete dishonest, and deceptive from top to down. Constant access tenants' apartment without announcement, notification despite of warning. Taking photos in tenants' apartment without permission. Request to install CO/Smoke alarm few months ago and change entrance dead light bulb months ago, nothing happened. Since Kinsey manage our building 2010, super only clean the common area for less than 10 times, yet lied to DHCR that cleaning done three times a week, three hours per visit without a blink (Adam) even after inspector verified condition, still make lies, extraordinary! Installing remove heat device to control the heat, and failed to provide heat from time to time to legal limits, despite of HP action order to remove it, and still non-comply, and total lawless and experienced offender (catch if you can). Only thing to stop such unlawful activities is have money consequence, simple!

This company is total scam. I had very bad experiences with this company. they don't really care about business, they literally don't do anything. One of the tenants waited months to get a respond. STAY AWAY from this company if you don't want a big headache. Research about this company before you do business...

Terrible management company!!
I've had a very bad experience with this company. They are unfriendly (this could pass if it was the only grief... but it's not), inefficient, unresponsive to emails (even important and urgent) and limit aggressive (definitively rude) in their communications to their tenants.
The shape of the unit I rented was barely acceptable, so was the building (we've had issued with the basic amenities such as hot water for the shower for weeks), and they didn't plan any renovation work anytime soon.
I'd rather take my chances on Craigslist than with these so-called "professionals", and would advice the same to anyone considering renting a place with these people.
