I have been going to the Rocking Horse Ranch since the 80's when I was a little girl. Our parents used to bring us for the last week of Aug. Always so much to do with all the out door activities and of course the horse back riding.. Always a favorite. I have so many memories, and we have made so many friends over the years that we still talk with today, Now I have a family of my own and I love how excited my little girl gets when we go to the ranch. we don't go during the summers anymore, we go once a year every November and it keeps us busy with a fun filled weekend for all of us. We love to ride and the trails are beautiful, and the stable staff is so friendly. We are thankful for the daycare staff, our daughter loves it in there. that gives my husband and I riding time together. Over the years they have really improved on the indoor pool area, and the little water park area is great for the kids, and the big slide for the big kids. I love that over the years they have really made some great improvements to the ranch with the play barn, the wall climbing and jumping things for the kids. They know how to keep them busy with something. The new dinning room area looks like its going to be a great new addition to the eating area. Oh and the food, is delish, never a complaint about it. They really know how to feed you. 3 meals a day with and hour cocktail during the day , You can never go hungry. Entertainment at night can be a little better, the second night there this past November was not You may feel that its a bit pricy, but you can park your car for the weekend, and just have a great family time with spending very little. I think I may have spent about $60 between stuff at the gift shop and some drinks before dinner. Love that Place, will keep going to I can.....
