We took the tour, and I m so very glad! Mark, our tour guide was a deep and passionate story teller, who recanted tales of Shakespeare s life and works, the origins of the original Globe and how this recreation came to be. The tour spaces were pretty limited - we got to sit up in the balcony, down in the gallery, then we stood up at the stage while our guide went on about all things Shakespeare. He even wove in references from several of Shakespeare s plays into the tour at various times. Really quite fun! The tour itself is like a play!
