Update: It's been a month and still no refund received. Awaiting a response, but it should not take this long to process a refund.

Sent in a Nexus 7 2nd gen to get a broken usb port replaced (bent contact). After over a week it was sent back as "couldn't fix due to motherboard fault", a full refund but no replaced usb port. I tried to ask what was meant by "motherboard fault" but no response.
When I got it back I picked up a wireless charger and it charged and turned on without a problem, so it just sounds like they didn't want to break out the soldering iron as I'd expect a motherboard fault to be a bit more crippling.
