Julie and Kim have made my working life in DC exponentially better. Here are a few of the reasons why I highly recommend Whitman:
1. Julie got me an interview within days of our initial interview. Our interview was within days of my application to Whitman. The entire process was smooth moving and easy. She also worked with me to help a friend who was moving to the area and connected her with work within a week of arriving in the city.
2. So many temp agencies feel like cheap used car lots, I never got that impression from Whitman. Julie and Kim make meaningful placements where they think you will actually succeed rather than just shoving you in a random law office as a secretary to be talked at. My placement has been great- I've learned valuable skills that are transferable throughout my career (google analytics and grant writing!) and my friend has been placed in an international development office working with senior USAID officials (straight up her alley- the perfect location for her).
3. I know 4 people who have obtained permanent positions from their Whitman Temp Jobs. You aren't just heating a seat, you're working for agencies where they want you to succeed so you can eventually join the team.

All in all, I couldn't thank Whitman enough for the professional support they have offered me as a young professional in this city. I highly recommend this team if you're looking to start/re-start your career in DC.
