We had lunch on Friday Jan 24. I had the bacon and cabbage special which was very enjoyable however my wife had the make your own sandwich, which was bland and tasteless. The bread was incorrect and the beef was dry. We were asked by a member of staff if we enjoyed the meal and when I told him he said not to leave and he was glad to hear feedback. I waited 10 mins and he never returned. I paid and left and I will not recommend The Strand Hotel for lunch
