39 month contract ended then put it on a 6 month deferment at end of 6 month cancelled twice bills still coming I had a 39 month contract with Vivint at the end of my 39 months I wanted to cancel but they talked me in to putting it on hold because if you cancel you can't get it hooked back up. They put me on a 6 month deferment at the end of the 6 months I asked to cancel they said yes and started the process. I sent in my check and a written note stating all the info they told me to put to the address they told me to send it to. I did everything they asked then a month later I got another bill. I called in now they're saying that the computer enrolled me into a 12 month agreement even though I am month-to-month since my contract ended. I am completely appalled and disgusted with this company. the 39 months I was with them there was always something going wrong. Vivint use to be APEX both had horrible issues. I wish I would have known that they were not accredited with the BBB because I am not the only one who has to jump through hoops and do back flips just to cancel. They only do this because like many others they think that we will just pay the bill. I hope a company like this shuts down and it's very sad because their employees are very nice. I will be copying this and posting it on YELP, GOOGLE, and what ever website I can warning people against Vivint because of their horrible business practices.
