Powerscourt has a lot to offer. Built over generations, you ll find a family history, mansion and formal Irish gardens. Powerscourt is well organized, easy to get around and has a hotel and golf course in addition to the mansion and gardens. We stopped in to take a look at the hotel and would love to return to that elegance and beauty.
First we had lunch at the Avoca Terrace Cafe, the servings were generous and tasty. Then we walked the grounds while chatting about plants, trees and garden design. After, we toured the shops and fell in love with the Avoca textiles shop.
