My homeowner sent him to home to fix the central AC. A gentleman came checked ac and said the control card has to be replaced. He offered 612 usdfor a simple card and tookhalf ofthepayment. Next week came and replaced but still ac wasnot functioning. Than he said outaideunit s compressor was not working. And he told than all the system has to be replaced inside and out. He might be right or wrong but they should return the money back of landlord requested. They also took the old card without getting permission from us. We asked for 2 separate companies to come and check. Both said board not connected properly and the fuse on the board was broken. I did not feel he really know what he did or maybe he knew but did not do things systematically to troubleshoot. He did what was easy for him. Finally we still have no ac functioning.
