The music is LOUD from the club on the second floor. You can hear it from almost any room making it about impossible to sleep if you go to bed before 2AM. Nothing is done well here. I dropped my sd card under the bed. Guess what I found - A dead bug and a pair of womens underwear. I woke up to housekeeping banging on my door even though i had the DND sign up. So after ignoring it for a minute I get a call...they need me to open the door so I can sign my checkout paperwork? I think to myself that is crazy since I already paid for the room, but whatever I tell her to hang on while I put some clothes on and she hangs up. Not a "ok" or anything, so I know now that she's mad at me... I answer the door and she hands me a receipt with room service charges telling me to sign. I know I'm half asleep but pretty sure I would remember ordering room service. So of course I say that I didn't order anything. Now she's even more mad and says "sir it says right here room 326". I tell her this is room 526 and she walks off in a huff. So now I'm up 2 hours early after getting almost no sleep because of the music... I wouldn't even bother mentioning this in a review as it's a specific problem to one specific person. But I do mention it because something like this happens every single time I go here. And yeah i go here about twice a year. It's kind of fun mixing with the local cubans. They are nice and sure know how to have fun. So i do recommend this place for a 1 night getaway if your from around the area, but dont expect much from the hotel or it's employees.
