Tl;dr: Overall, very skiable mountain, good varied terrain. Prices a bit steep. Very crowded on weekends and often runs out of parking.

Long wide rambling: I've been going here since college and great mountain. I've only been once since vail took over and seemed normal, except the prices. While there's something great about improving the overall experience by upgrading lifts, there's also something about keeping costs lower and keeping accessibility wide. It depends on the mountains mission and being owned by distant dudes in suits kinda tells you the direction. Baker is still locally owned, but slower and not as swanky. If stevens drastically increased acreage within the next 5 years, then the high increase in cost would start to make a bit more sense.
