My collision (I was rear-ended) took place in March 2014 and it is now June 2014 and I still do not have my vehicle! I was told the repair would take between 20-25 days. This 60+ day saga and Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet collision center continues to disappoint.

To most accurately represent the experience, I have included excerpts from documented email exchanges with City Chevrolet:

'May 6:' "Your vehicle is now in our buff department. Tomorrow at some point it will go to detail and quality control."

May 12: "Our technical department went to clear codes and found a few related to the accident".

May 19: "A few minutes ago we discovered a spot on the trunk near the edge".

May 22: "I apologize I got subpoenaed to court for a repair case. We didn t repair it. :) Anyway while I was out a quality control found one more item to address".
May 23: (after I expressed serious concerns regarding delays/competence/ability) "This Collision Center and Dealership is where Mr. Hendrick got his real start. His NASCAR teams grew out of this very shop. Our dealership won the very coveted Dealer of the Year Award the last ten years in a row."
May 23: "We are done. :) I also filled your car up with premium. It was the least we could do for the delay."
May 24: I went to pick my car up and immediately noticed that the rear window, shattered in the accident, had not been tinted! All of my windows are tinted and this stood out like a sore thumb. Unbelievable that nobody noticed this before promising the vehicle. Additionally, there were very obvious blemishes on the rear/trunk.
May 27: "First of all I apologize about the issues with your BMW. Below is the list my colleague left me from Saturday."
May 30: "We have addressed most of the issues. We are still working on the place on the left rear bumper cover. That should be done today/tomorrow."
June 6: No vehicle, no feedback, no follow-up, no satisfaction. At this point, I have no idea what the status of my vehicle is.

Unfortunately, my experience has not been a positive one despite recommendations from BMW and both insurance carriers involved. I expected more from a collision center with such high credentials.
