Received a call saying I had an unpaid debt from over 2 1/2 years ago, which would be news to me as I never received any bills for said visit, I called the place they claimed were collecting and I had a 0 balance with all the bills paid, and that if they were to send me to collections, Mountainland would not be the place. Mountainland also told me they received the collection only 2 weeks after my hospital visit (that s not even enough time to go through insurance and bill me) but I wasn t contacted until TWO AND A HALF YEARS LATER (with added interest, mind you). I sent in a written dispute for this false collection ON 4 SEPARATE OCCASIONS, asking for proof and documentation as to where this was coming from, with nothing received and every time they say they d take legal actions, yet they weren t giving me ANY information, and were ignoring all of my disputes, that had proof saying I didn t owe anything. I heard nothing for 7 months, assuming they disputed the false collection...until I got served with papers, papers claiming I now owe all the attorneys fees, etc. And they keep changing who sent me to collections, one moment, it s IHC, next moment when I dig to the bottom of it, it s my insurance(who aren t legally allowed to sent me to collections so they didn t). Mountainland is full of it.
