The views from the patio were beautiful. My room faced away from the water, but the landscaping was also beautiful. I stayed in the lnn which is totally made from logs. Lots of antiques..rustic atmosphere. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, but it is European style with the bathrooms down the hall..very clean though. The rooms are definately not sound proof. The food and drinks were just fine. My only drawback was the staff. We had a large group with rooms in the lodge and in the cabins and the staff from the front desk to the waitpeople, breakfast, dinner and bar could have been more friendly.
