Purco has been an absolute nightmare to deal with.
I rented a car from Budget in Juneau, Alaska and returned the car on June 8th 2020. I had a small fender bender accident, only cosmetic damage, and no one else was involved. On June 14th I received a bill from Purco for the claim. They were then paid by my insurance and I paid the difference. My insurance then closed the case. On July 13th I received a new bill from Purco that said I owed $282.13 more. They claimed that the costs were more than initially estimated... almost a month later?!? Through further investigation, the auto repair shop charged me for over 3 hours of diagnostic scans, which according to my insurance should not have been more than half an hour. Again, the damage was only cosmetic. Purco will not look into why I was charged so much. I am still investigating that on my own, over 2 months after the repairs were made.
The Purco agent Debbie Draper has been EXTREMELY rude and refuses to help in any way. Every time we have spoken, she s given me attitude. She s also been rude to my insurance agent, who has been trying to help me get answers.
I will make sure to never rent from a company that uses Purco again. They are rude, unhelpful, and worst of all, make false charges!
