We stayed overnight at the Safari Hotel and absolutely loved it!

The room was really clean and perfectly equipped for a night away. Towels and toiletries provided as well as tea and coffee provisions to set you up for the day!

It's lovely that the children have their own area (TV included!) and allows for some much needed space to gather energy without having to compromise on what to watch! It was also incredibly well sound proofed. We didn't hear a single noise from other guests throughout the stay and just loved having the private base on hand after we checked in on Day 1.

The view was wonderful. We could see the zebras, ostriches and other animals wandering around the fields in front and it was just lovely.

The Resort staff were friendly, incredibly helpful and polite throughout. The Zafari Bar and Grill really hit the spot. Really easy to order and pay online at the table and social distancing measures were in place at all times. I don't think I saw any staff without a face mask throughout the resort and within Chessington World of Adventures itself which was really comforting.

Queue times were still long without the fast track passes. I know this is to be expected but not everyone stays apart in spite of continual reminders from Chessington (including televised information about social distancing in queues) so that was a little frustrating but nothing to do with a lack of trying on Chessington's behalf. As you enter everyone has a temperature check and there are sanitiser stations everywhere. Staff also regularly sanitised rides and I saw people cleaning within other areas of the park as well. The staff worked tirelessly and were so friendly attentive and upbeat.

We can't wait to visit again and are very tempted to stay longer next time!
