Escort was operating in room next door the whole week.
Update June 2018, downgraded to one star:
Have stayed in this property at least 20 times previously, each time ranging from 4 to 5 nights during the business week. Card readers on doors, and especially the club lounge, have deteriorated. Housekeeping never changes sheets, with the linen change card hidden from view being stuffed in the folio. No notepads or pens in room, and even worse, housekeeping found it appropriate to steal sheets from my personal notepad, including tearing pages I had notes on, an act that actually I would classify as theft.
Bedsheets had bloodspots at check-in, and appeared to not be changed from prior guest. While it doesn't bother me personally (I've been in much worse), I expect better from a "Sheraton".
Requested fridge (an amenity clearly published as available) and was denied.
WiFi in the top corner (11th floor, apparently a "club floor" for SPG elites) dead for two nights in a row... worked in other areas of property.
As for housekeeping, one day took dirty towels and replaced soaps... must have thought it was a due-out room... but stopped short of completing the job by forgetting to leave new towels behind. The next day, completely zero housekeeping. I did not choose the green option nor do I ever use the do not disturb sign. While waiting for service to be done, had food delivery already ordered, and noticed a rather obnoxious sign in the LOBBY stating outside food is only allowed in guest room. Sitting at this so-called "restaurant and bar area" I was never asked what I wanted to drink, or order... for 45 minutes.
Restaurant menu has been stripped, club lounge food non-existent (although consistent with other Sheratons)
Marriott needs to review this property for compliance with standards, and rebrand as necessary to Four Points or Courtyard. The only thing going for this location are the front desk and bar staff being friendly, and doing what they can with whatever management is slashing.
As tomorrow is my last night, I expect (as usual at this property) to be woken up prior to 8am by some housekeeping looking to check on the due-outs.
