Stayed here on a recent overnight trip to the big smoke. Elegant lobby and friendly helpful staff however the room was very tired looking with big holes in the walls, a fridge that didn't work and a tiny bathroom that smelt funny. I took a bath and it was a fast filling but fast draining one as the plug didn't fit. When you turn the taps off it's such a fine line between turning them off and the shower turning on (freezing cold then scorching) so be careful. The hand rail to help in and out was hanging off of the wall so not able to put any weight on that.

The beds however we're extremely comfortable! The air con made such a racket that we had it on briefly but couldn't sleep so turned it off code baked all night. Being London it was too loud with a window open.

Access wise there are 4 large steps at the front of the hotel, I'm guessing there must be access for wheelchair users however I fear it's either a fold out ramp at a terrible angle or a back entrance! It's a long walk between two tube stations (10 - 15minutes) and staff didn't know which bus we could take but were keen to call up a taxi of course! All in all it was a place to get a comfortable (bed not temperature) nights sleep but I wouldn't want to return or stay more than one night, I would find it depressing. Not the best holiday inn I've stayed in for sure but we may have just gotten a rough room.
