It is a marvel as a building of a breakthrough architecture. There is a lot of talk about the ancient library of Alexandria but it only has a connection that is a tribute to the old one. In this case it is about cooperation between unesco and some western countries that have put the money for its construction and endow it with material and bibliographic funds. In this sense it functions as an appendix of the University of Alexandria. The architecture is truly fabulous. The building is of a beauty that leaves anyone speechless.
