This was by far the worst customer service experie...

This was by far the worst customer service experience we have ever had and also my first negative review for a business. My wife and I have been in the market for an SUV and were excited to look and possibly test drive the new Toyota Venza. Additionally we have been a Toyota family for over 35 years driving and servicing our vehicles only at dealerships. Upon arrival, we were greeting by Allan who was nice and helpful. We let him know we wanted to take a look at the Venza which had just arrived from a test drive. He was gracious and attempted to get the keys from the other salesman, Chip, which rudely said no and walked inside as I watched from a distance. After some discussion between them, he opened the door which allowed us to view the car. Uncomfortable at this point on the way Allan had been treated, I decided to go inside and speak to a manager after we were done. I asked the receptionist to speak to a manager as Chip came up to the desk as well. He asked what he could help us with and I asked him to speak to a manager. He stated he was the manager where I responded letting him know I knew he wasn't a manager and I again wished to speak to an actual manager. During this time I expected a response from the receptionist and another salesman who stood there with a blank stare not acknowledging Chip was a Manager (I already knew he wasn't;Manager's typical do not leave the floor to show cars as Chip had done). Having been in the car business, I pointed to where I knew the managers were behind the glass office. Chip asked for my name where I stated that wasn't important and he walked away to the managers area. I was then greeted by an actual manager where I explained the disrespect and unprofessionalism we had experienced. It is one thing for someone to be rude, but to treat you as if you are stupid is something completely different. I was enraged. We were ready to buy, but one person ruined our entire first experience at the dealership and have no plans of returning. It not only leaves a bad mark on the values of the dealership but definitely someone who doesn't understand the meaning of being honest and a team player.
