I was assisted by Barbara Martinez, who definitely went above and beyond in her efforts to help me find and apply for a MediGap plan. She made the change smooth and seamless and was a joy to work with. She also helped me to choose a Part D prescription Plan. I ran into difficulties, over and over, trying to fill out the application for the Part D Plan. My zipcode covers parts of two different counties, and when I got to the point where I had to enter my address & relevant information, the space for the county was already filled out, and it was "greyed out" so that I was unable to input the correct county name. Barbara was unceasing in her attempts to help me find a way to input the information correctly; up to and including contacting her supervisor and the manager of her area AND contacting the home offices of eHealth and management there as well, all in an effort to make my application possible. Barbara was extremely helpful, patient and pleasant during all of the many calls I placed to her in an effort to fix the application. I ended up having to apply via phone, as advised by Domingo Valdez of the California offices of eHealth, who also spent quite a lot of time tirelessly attempting to edit the application so that the "county, state and zipcode" spaces no longer have default settings. (As of this writing, the problem still exists, but I have total faith that the issue will be resolved soon.) This problem has not yet been rewritten adequately to allow the applicant to put information into the application themselves, but if eHealth's programmers are even half as dedicated to correcting issues as these two remarkable people, I have no doubt that it will be resolved soon! Please be sure to tell Barbara and 'Dom' what an excellent job they have done for me, and for other applicants as well, I am sure. You can be proud to have them as your employees!!
